Mark this date! This year’s Tour de Manawatu Cycle Challenge is to be held Sunday 7th November. This event is a perfect build-up event for those entering the Wattyl Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge –this year on Saturday 27th November.
Online entries will open on 1 July
The Lions Tour de Manawatu Cycle Challenge is held annually in November and attracts more than 1000 riders. Riders can choose solo or tandem challenges 116km, 80km, 45km, 20km Cycle Challenge distances.
While the event is largely non competitive and caters for every level of rider it does offer race options for elite cyclists. All races are Times-7 Sport timed with the exception of the 20km individual and 20km tandem where there is a choice of timed and untimed.

The major beneficiary from proceeds of this charity event will be CanTeen - supporting young people living with cancer.
