The Fox & the Woolf live in concert with special guest Erna Ferry.
Three of New Zealand's top artists have joined together to present an event featuring the classic songbook of material made famous by people the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee,
Sammy Davis Jnr, Ella Fitzgerald and some surprise takes on pop hits.
Rodger Fox and his band have teamed up with legendary crooner Ray Woolf for a fabulous show The Fox Meets the Woolf. Performing the classic music and songs of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darrin, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee.
Featuring such classic songs as
The Lady Is a Tramp, You Make Me Feel So Young, I've Got You Under My Skin, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Honeysuckle Rose, Smoke On the Water, Where Or When, Why Don't You Do Right, Sweet Georgia Brown, Can't Buy Me Love, Can't Take That Away From Me, Birth of The Blues, Tender Trap, Baby Get Lost, Goody Goody, I'm Walking', Something Stupid plus a touch of classics hits
The Concert features material from Ray Woolf’s first CD release in 27 years.
Iconic New Zealand vocalist-entertainer-actor Ray Woolf releases first CD release in 27 years. Performing with the New Zealand School of Music Big Band, the recording features such swing classics as The Tender Trap, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Birth of the Blues and Moonlight In Vermont - not to mention a special Latin big band version of the Deep Purple hit Smoke on the Water.
The Ray Woolf recording is the first of several joint ventures between leading New Zealand recording company Ode Records and T-Bone Records under the banner of Rodger Fox Presents.
Special guest:
Erna Ferry will perform such well-loved numbers as Brown Eyed Girl, Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps, Fever, My Baby Cares for Me, The Girl From Impanena, I’m Walkin’, Moon Dance, Sunny to name just a few.
