Janet has lived in Lower Hutt for over 20 years and during that time has been in various musicals and plays in Lower Hutt and Wellington. The idea of a community concert has been burning in her head for some time and has now become a reality. Janet, together with piano accompaniment, will sing a variety of songs from both old and new musicals, some classical songs, and some German Lieder. She will be joined by two young ladies who will also sing some classical songs. Following that Janet will sing some popular jazz standards, accompanied by piano, drums and bass.

To conclude the evening there will be an opportunity for the audience to sing-along to some popular songs. This is a concert for the community, with a wide variety of music being played. Come along and relax and listen to some truly heart-warming music. You can BYO wine, and there will be tea/coffee available at half time.
