A celebration of Northland artists. The BDO Northland Painting & Drawing Award exhibition will feature a maximum of 80 works from artists residing in Northland. The Rona Swallow Art Award for Bay of Islands area students in year 12/13 will also be on display. The public will also be responsible for voting on their favourite work. The piece with the highest votes will receive the People's Choice Award.
A significant first prize of $6,000 is on offer, with a People's Choice Award of $2,000. Both awards are proudly sponsored by BDO Bay of Islands Chartered Accountants and Advisers. Two highly commended works, sponsored by Living Nature and The French Art Shop, will also be chosen. The first place winner of the Rona Swallow Award will receive $500. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
