Auckland Welsh Choir with the Devonport Chamber Orchestra, and members of the RNZ Navy band. The programme will include Mozart Sinfonia Concertante K297b along with popular classics and Welsh songs for choir and orchestra.
As well, we are pleased to announce a world premiere: Canco del Mar by Christopher Marxhall. Marshall is a New Zealander who now lives, teaches and composes in Florida.
In this exciting setting of two Catalan texts full of maritime images by Joan Maragall, Marshall used a double choir and a small band of wind and strings, with percussion provided by members of the choirs.

Sinfonia Concertante and other items from the programme will be repeated at Holy Trinity Church, Church St, Devonport on Sunday 28th at 2 p.m. Bookings at The Depot or at the door. Tickets $20, children free.
