Ukulele Intermediate Workshop - HB Uke Fest 2010

Ukulele Workshops will be held by Mike Dickinson (Christchurch), The Nukes & Clare McCormick from Auckland and the Ukulele Bartt from Los Angeles USA.

Intermediate:
Clare McCormack is a music educator on the North Shore, Auckland and teaches piano, marimba, ukulele, recorder, choir and Orff Schulwerk for children and adults at home, in local schools and in the community. Her ukulele classes for adults are very popular. Clare runs music workshops for children and teachers around NZ and Australia.

A student at this level can hold a steady rhythm and is competent with a variety of basic chords. Understands simple chord progressions (such as I, IV, V chords), can sing and strum at the same time, and learns chords to simple tunes fairly quickly.

This Intermediate Ukulele Workshop is being held at the Hawke's Bay Opera House Municipal buildings. Meeting room TBC. Tickets are sold as general admission tickets.

Capacity: 30 max per class.

All tickets: $40.00 (one price for all).

Please note: general admission tickets are not available for courier. You can pick up tickets that you have booked online or by phone from the Hawke's Bay Opera House TicketDirect office during normal business hours (Mon-Fri. 9 to 5pm or Sat. 9 - 1pm) or on the day of the event at the boxoffice which is open 1 hour before the show.
