Ukulele Beginner Workshop at HB Uke Fest 2010

Ukulele Workshop will be held by Mike Dickinson (Christchurch), The Nukes & Clare McCormick from Auckland and the Ukulele Bartt from Los Angeles USA.

4 separate workshops to be held on Sunday, 21st November 9am to 11pm. In various meeting rooms at the Hawkes Bay Opera House.

1. Beginners Workshop
2. Intermediate Workshop
3. Advanced Workshop
4. Teaching Teachers Intermediate/Advanced Workshop.

Beginners workshop:

Mike Dickinson will be taking the Beginners workshop, Mike is the author of Kiwi Ukulele the New Zealand Ukulele Companion. http://www.kiwiukulele.co.nz/

Are uke a beginner:
A student at this level is brand-new to the ukulele. He/she has perhaps learned one to three chords but stops in-between chord changes to move the fingers to the next location.

This beginners' ukulele workshop is being held at the Hawke's Bay Opera House Municipal buildings. Meeting room TBC. Tickets are sold as general admission tickets.

Capacity: 30 max per class

All tickets: $40.00 (one price for all)

Please note: general admission tickets are not available for courier. You can pick up tickets that you have booked online or by phone from the Hawke's Bay Opera House TicketDirect office during normal business hours (Mon-Fri. 9 to 5pm or Sat. 9 - 1pm) or on the day of the event at the boxoffice which is open 1 hour before the show.

Tickets purchased for this event online will incur the following service fees:

$1.00 Per ticket fee.
$5.00 Per transaction for pickup tickets.
$8.00 Per transaction for courier deliveries.
$11.00 Per transaction for rural deliveries.
