Edsports HB Primary School Triathlon Champs

This year's event will be held on Wednesday 10 November 2010.

Calling all budding young triathletes, your school can enter teams and individuals into the Hawke's Bay Primary School Triathlon Champs.

2008 was the first ever EdSports Hawke's Bay Primary Schools Triathlon Championship. It was a huge success with over 450 children taking part. We did not expect such a great response for the first year and with another 438 this year we were ready for them all and the two event format worked really so will be replicated in 2010.

This event is open to year 5 right through to year 8 children and your school can enter you by downloading the entry form and posting it into the address listed on the entry form.

Entry form will be posted on the website soon.

Venue: Clive War Memorial Pool and Farndon Park Domain in Clive.

Avanti Plus of Hastings are donating a cool bike as a major spot prize and this year we are splitting the races into morning and afternoon sessions.

The Juniors (Year 5 and 6) will be in the morning and the Seniors (Year 7 and 8) will be after lunch so you can get through the races faster and get out of that hot Hawke's Bay sun.
