The Hamilton Civic Choir and Opus Orchestra return with their eagerly anticipated annual collaboration - this year with three cantatas of J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio. The oratorio represents the story of each of the major feast days of Christmas, and contains a little of everything - exciting drama, brilliance, grace, simplicity, touching melody and exuberance.
Conducted by well-known Baroque specialist Rachael Griffiths-Hughes, with soloists Jane Tankersley (soprano), Sarah Court (alto), Chalium Poppy (bass) and John Murray (tenor).
