A performance and discussion with Rob Thorne. Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear from musician and anthropologist Rob Thorne, with his taoka pūoro - traditional instruments, as he displays and explains their timeless sounds. Rob will recreate the many voices of Māori music using wooden, stone, and bone instruments which he has painstakingly created using time-honoured techniques.

Held in Barclay Theatre at Otago Museum.
