Our Oceans Lecture Series - Abigail Smith.
Off the Otago coast live massive colonies of tiny aquatic animals dubbed the bryozoan meadows. Sensitive to the rising acidity of the ocean linked to global climate change, these creatures are declining. Join Associate Professor Abigail Smith from the Department of Marine Science at Otago University, to discuss 'the other CO2 problem' and how this could lead to a sea without shells!
