Driven to the brink of extinction by commercial whaling, Southern right whales now seem to be making a slow comeback. Join Dr Will Rayment of Otago University’s Marine Science Department as he explains how current research in the Auckland Islands could provide clues to aid the whales' recovery around the mainland. Lucy Rowe, Research and Interpretation Coordinator – Natural Sciences, will also contribute on the Otago Museum’s involvement.
