Music Funding Seminar

In conjunction with MMF the 3 funding bodies NZ On Air, NZMC Outward Sound and Creative NZ will help you to find out exactly how to go about applying for funding.

All three speakers will do a general introduction to their respective funding schemes and then will be taking one on one meetings with members. Please RSVP to lorraine@mmf.co.nz and state in order of preference who you would like to do your one on one session with and depending on numbers we will try to accommodate all requests

NZ On Air – Brendan Smyth
Brendan will talk you through the NZ on Air New Artist Grants, Video Grants, Phase Four Recording Grants and International Grants - www.kiwihits.co.nz

Outward Sound – Alan Holt
Alan can outline the criteria for applying for Outward Sound Phase One Grants (up to $10,000), Phase Two Grants (up to $20,000) and Phase Three Grants (up to $30,000) for international - www.nzmusic.org.nz

Creative New Zealand – Chris Archer
Chris will run through the process for applying for Creative New Zealand Grants and what musical projects are eligible and which are not. You will be surprised! www.creativenz.govt.nz
