Urbane, bored Richard Hannay makes eyes at a mysterious woman at the theatre, going to his London flat where the woman ends up dead. With no more than that Richard is cast into a headlong run for his life as a spy organisation pursues him to Scotland and back, as he fights to clear himself of the murder.
The Play will keep you guessing and laughing with four actors playing some fifty roles between them with comedy and thrills galore. Directed by Duncan Whiting with Ben Brown playing Hannay, Denise moran portraying three femme fatale roles and Michael Cox and Gavin Stead alternating roles from the milkman to Mr Memory and the fifty characters in between at breakneck lighting speed...
"39 Steps is fun in the best sense of the word, almost Monty-Python-esque at times and an astonishing theatrical tour de force, imaginative and very funny"
