The fifth annual Show Me Shorts Film Festival kicks off with a glamorous opening and awards night, where audience members attending will have the chance to see the eight winning films and celebrate with the filmmakers.
Show Me Shorts is a travelling festival of the best 40 short films from Australia and New Zealand. The films are divided into six themed sessions, each running for approximately 80 minutes. Festival Director Gina Dellabarca says, “Selecting our programme line up this year has been the toughest and most rewarding yet due to increased numbers of entries from filmmakers with an ever-growing level of skill and inventiveness.”

Screen Hub Best Student Film

Script to Screen Best Screen Play
SDGNZ Best Director
SDGNZ Best Editor
Panavision Best Cinematographer
Special Jury Prize
The total prize pool is valued at over $10,000, with the major award winner for Kodak Best Film taking away enough rolls of Kodak motion picture film to shoot their next short film.
