Queen Of The Whole Universe

Tickets are in such hot demand for the 7th annual performance of Queen of the Whole Universe in Auckland on Saturday 6 November 2010 that the ‘stalls’ all but sold out in 5 days – 6 months prior to the event!

Since the shows inception in 2004 QWU© has raised over $145,000 for HIV/AIDS causes in New Zealand while entertaining audiences from all over New Zealand and Overseas in what has become a truly must-see-event in Auckland and also now, Wellington.

Not all of the cast are boys dressed as girls – young, old, gay and straight- every contestant has the same mission, to receive the coveted crown. Celebrity guest judge Carmen will join the other members of the judging panel as they and the audience witness the show that consists of two acts, more than 50 contestants and huge headgear, to make it a night of laughter, creativity and entertainment.

Contestants will battle for prestige in the glamorous ‘Headgear of Nations’ before the announcements of the special awards and the semi-finalists who will compete for the overall title.

Queen of the Whole Universe raises funds for QWU Charitable Trust in support of those people infected by HIV/AIDS here in New Zealand.
