Amongst the teenage angst, semi-nude pictures on Facebook and fake e-mail addresses, it's been an impressive year for all involved at this show...
Diana Rozz were featured as part of Real Groove's "Awesome Feeling" compilation, released a video for "The Mizzeducation of Diana Rozz" and have opened for Deerhoof, Wolf Gang and a host of strong local talent. Cheese On Toast's prophetic calls for them to come to Auckland have been answered - and we're all quite excited to have them up here.
Cat Venom have had the distinct honour of opening for Street Chant twice, an incredible "Pink Floyd-on-a-budget" stage show as part of the Jester Underground birthday bash and to top it all off have been favourites on Wellington's RadioActive 89fm all the while releasing "Old Meat/Bats In The Belfry" on Geraldine vinyl - and selling quite well to be honest.
Fatangryman have come along in leaps and bounds this year - having signed to Muzai off the strength of their live shows, releasing their self titled EP and winning new fans with opening slots for Die! Die! Die!'s "Form" and Street Chant's "Means". The show also marks the first time Fatangryman play Whammy bar, which is pretty special for all of us.
