Painting with Jane Whiting, Thursdays from 3.30 - 5pm at The Quarry Arts Centre.
Class 1 – Studying still life. Jane will set up a still life and children will learn the basics of drawing, perspective and design.
Class 2 – Creative painting. Children will learn how to seal up a board ready for painting on.
Class 3 – Creative painting techniques. Leaning techniques for landscape painting e.g.: sponges, cotton wool skies, using found objects, other paint and charcoal etc…
Class 4 – Having fun with landscape painting. Looking at the landscape. Learning basic ideas for painting, colour theory etc.
Suitable from ages 7 to 11. Each day is booked individually at a cost of $15 each day
