Three bands from Southern Collective: Sandilands, Mama Tilly and F82Decide play live at the Ruby Lounge.

F82Decide are a 3 piece rock/soul crossover from Wellington consisting of Joe Standeven on vocals and guitar, Steve Taylor on Bass and John Du Chateau on drums. They have been compared to Hootie & The Blowfish and the more mellow side of Alice in Chains. Their debut full album 'Don't You Worry' is due for release at the time of the show.

Mama Tilly are a 5-piece all girl alt-rock band from Wellington. Lead vocals by Mahinarangi Maika, backed by Lauren King on guitar, Lisa Tagaloa on bass, Eileen (Ila) Scott on keys and backing vocals and Georgina Swan-Hay on drums. With a rocky/bluesy/indie style that's hard to pigeonhole these girls are a class act that you won't forget in a hurry. Debut EP 'Silhouettes & Footsteps' is available online.

The opening act is Sandilands, a two piece acoustic-rock act also from Wellington. Rachel Sandilands waif-like vocals are backed and matched to Dan Burkett's stripped back guitar sound. This duo are crafting their debut album at this time in preparation for recording later this year.
