Wilson F. Dixon is a cowboy singer from Cripple Creek, Colorado who cheerfully dispenses pearls of home-knitted wisdom and campfire tunes from his bag of songs and stories of life on the dusty trial.

In Saddle Sore, the laconic cowboy (think John Clarke meets John Wayne meets Flight of The Conchords) shares songs about his dysfunctional family and general ponderings about life. ‘It’s like ‘a salmon swimming upstream - hard work and sometimes y’all get eaten by bears’.

The Wilson Dixon Line has featured on BBC Radio and Wilson Dixon was nominated for the 2010 Press Critics’ Choice Award at the World Buskers’ Festival.

“Brilliantly oddball… if there’s any justice Wilson Dixon will surely inspire a devout following before long. A cult is born.” Chortle (UK)

“...the kind of fella who could make you laugh 'til the cows come home... Dixon's deadpan patter is gut-bustingly funny, but it's his beautifully crafted songs that really impress.” The Scotsman (UK)

Wilson Dixon Saddle Sore is Presented by Creeping Charlie Productions.
