Centrestage Theatre is holding open auditions for The Boy Friend,
Sunday May 30th 1pm to 6pm (season September 18 - Oct 2nd 2010).

One of the most popular musicals of all time, The Boy Friend continues to find new audiences 50 years from its original London production. Set in the carefree world of the French Riviera in the Roaring 1920’s, The Boy Friend is a comic pastiche of 1920’s shows (in particular early Rodgers and Hart). Sandy Wilson’s music captures the era perfectly with some of the most well known tunes in British Musical Theatre. Over flowing with humour and spectacular dance numbers the show will be a hit with our audiences.

Small cast is required, there will be no chorus. Auditionees will be required to Act, Sing and Dance (there will be some tap in the show). Please prepare an appropriate song and bring the sheet music. Dance auditions will be taken in groups.
• Director and Choreographer - Michael Sanders
• Musical Director - Warwick Day
• Tap Choreographer - Anna Mortlock
