Coast is dub, funk, rock and a splash of jazz. A strong, natural "Kiwi dub" influence combined with fat funk and hard rock. Dub inspired by bands such as NZ's Salmonella Dub but thickened up by the hard funk rock style of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We ran our Trio's flavour through these styles and came out with an uplifting fat dub sound with driving rhythms, funky breakdowns and easy listening melodies and harmonies.
