Classical Concert - An evening of Latin love and peasant folksongs, Sat 29 May from 8pm.
Clare Martin and Sarah Watkins travel from the Sicilian fishmarkets to the Basque mountains and further east to Azerbaijan and Romania.
Clare Martin is a versatile performer, classically trained and has been performing a wide range of opera roles, recital programmes and working with ensembles in the UK. She recently returned to set up base in Auck-land and is really pleased to team up with Sarah to present this feisty list of songs.
"Folk songs bring the heart of the people into music" - it's going to be a fun night full of passion and exotic music.
