12th May - 4th June.

Artists Statement:
“This body of work explores the essence of what we are..... the stuff we are composed of , beyond the flesh. “I am...” or “You are...?” looks at possibilities for the nature of our existence. The physical works are on clear acrylic, a reference to the translucence of the concept of “I” . Your location in space, time effecting the appearance of the you. Multi Layered works reflecting the multi layered nature of our “self “. The Audio visual work groups the individual pieces that make up the “I” into a whole, .....a “one”. Vibrations of sound are added that resonate with the observer, punctuating and drawing you in to each concept. The element of time, a stream of nows, leads the observer on an internal journey, step by step.

Most of these images were all made in a week. While I had the concept in my mind and saw the images for what they were at the time the shutter was released , they turned out to contain far more depth and meaning than I imagined. I believe that is why we have a sense of the arts, an ability to recognize meaningful patterns and receive insight into the truth of existence. In everything around us lies the answers to the mysteries of the universe. It is just a matter of seeing....” - Tim Stephenson

You are invited to an exhibition opening - Wednesday, 12th May at 5.30pm. Enjoy another gathering of those who appreciate the arts, artists and friends.
