The Longhair Cat Breeders Association (LHCBA ) is holding a Longhair Pedigree Cat Show at the Horticultural Hall, Hagley Park in Christchurch on Sunday May 16th 2010.

This year the LHCBA are celebrating there 25th anniversary so the theme will be anything "silver". Polish up that silverware, put on those glitzy heels and come to the show for some fun.

Breeds may include Persians, Exotics, Birmans, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, Siberians and Maine Coons. Also at this show will be domestic moggies and companion cats of all shapes and sizes.

If you are interested in entering your cat/kitten in this show (entries will close mid April) please phone Alastair on (03) 3136731 for an entry form, or alternatively they will be available on the NZ Cat Fancy Inc website on the 'shows' page for downloads.

Judges from NZ and Australia include: Allan Davies (Australia); Nick Tricario (Australia); Paddy Smith (Nelson); Zena Pigden (Dunedin); and Debbie Chesterfield (Palmerston North).

Come and see the cats being judged and a great chance to meet the breeders if you are ever considering purchasing a pedigree cat in the future.

Open to the public from 9am - 4pm

Food and refreshments for sale on site. Raffles sold throughout the day.
