After 10 years away from his native homeland, the greatest kiwi comic you’ve never heard of makes his triumphant return. Jarred is one of the most sought after comics on the international circuit and now a BBC sitcom star, this is an act truly worthy of excitement.

In 2000 Jarred packed his bags and brought the cheapest ticket he could find from Christchurch to London to find fame and fortune as a comedian. 10 years later he has appeared in the world’s top comedy festivals including Melbourne, Dublin, Edinburgh and the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Festival.

A BBC sitcom star (The Persuasionists), he started in children’s TV at the BBC with Rhys Darby, also before he was famous. Since then has appeared on numerous shows including Britain’s Big Brothers Big Mouth and NBC’s Last Comic Standing in Miami

Jarred’s new show Captain Curious takes the audience on a hilarious ride of laughs and gasps with an edge that manifests itself in his rants against the small things in our lives. His material is strong and distinctive, drawn from life experience and random happenings.

A foreigner in his own country, let’s hope it’s not another decade before we see his talent on a home stage.
