30 glorious gardens to discover - beautiful private properties in coastal, country and city locations. Each one has that something special. 20 gardens are part of Garden Discovery for the first time.
Featured gardens are in Maunu, Maungatapere, Poroti, Kensington,Kamo, Kauri, Onerahi and Parua Bay. This self drive trail showcases stunning subtropicals at their best in March. In keeping with trend to homegrown vegetables, gardens with super vege patches will be highlighted in your brochure
In association with Garden Discovery there is a sculpture and garden art exhibition featuring over 100 works of art by 30 artists at the Quarry Gardens, Russell Rd.
The art will be silhouetted against sheer cliffs and cascades, nestled amongst the foliage, in the streams and lakes, balanced on banks and rocks or on the wedding lawn.
