The Wellington Harbour Blast is a downwind 'race' between Petone and Eastbourne, the direction depends on wind on the day.

This is a mass start event from the beach, and caters for both competitive sailors but also those windsurfers who want to just try sailing down the harbour with support boats in case anything goes wrong.
