Information is generated in everything staff do. Government departments, service companies, utilities, primary industry, manufacturing, retail – all generate large quantities of information every day. With staff empowerment the norm, the rate of creating information by individuals in their normal daily work is growing exponentially. And what about stuff that is not written down – the knowledge in people’s heads?

And here’s the rub. The volume is growing rapidly, but is the value of that information pool increasing at similar rates? Or is it locked away in a “silos”? What about too much information rather than the stuff that is really useful?

In this light-touch session we share experiences (yours and ours) of how information is organised (or not), how it is stored and how it is found again (maybe). This is not a Spanish Inquisition, but a chance to share experiences and ways that you have adopted to address the issues of staff finding stuff when they need it. Then we will discuss some of ways that information can be best created, tagged, stored and found within a Microsoft world.

Join Steve Lapwood (Management Consulting) and Henk Verhoeven (Enterprise Architect, Innovation, Strategy & Solutions) in this highly interactive session.

Note: this is not a Microsoft technology demonstration and the facilitators are not techies. This is a session for people who care about how access to the right information at the right time can help them achieve outstanding results for their organisation.
