The Wellington Ball Expo

Welcome to the inaugural Wellington School Ball Expo, an event that will help all students planning for their yearly ball. The expo is an event that will assist students (male and female aged from 15 – 18) who are attending a ball to talk to leading Wellington suppliers, all of which will be represented under one roof on one day. Suppliers of ball gowns, suit hire, venues, hair stylists, make up artists, spray tanners, limos and DJs and many others will be on site to assist with all aspects of your ball. We will also be bring together a number of health agencies whom will be on site in an educational room dedicated to advising students about the effects of alcohol and drugs.

The event will be on a first in first served basis…so please don’t delay.

This is a great opportunity to market your services and products and a worthwhile opportunity to meet students who for the first time will be embarking on a ball so all the information that they can obtain will benefit them when making their decisions. This event we believe is New Zealand’s first School Ball expo. We the organisers want to make the ball not only about the pre ball and after ball but we want the event to educate students that there is more to a ball than the after ball, it's creating the atmosphere and taking the time to enjoy the actual ball. With all the recent bad press about balls lets show New Zealand that we Wellingtonian’s can lead students onto the path of showing them how to create a great fun evening..the most important formal event on the school calendar..The Ball.

Organised with consummate style by two of Wellington’s leading event organisers Angela Vinaccia and Paula Bevege. As many of you would know Angela has 12 years experience running The Wellington Wedding Show and this event will come naturally well organized. Angela runs her own successful venue and holds many school balls at The Overseas Terminal business.

Paula’s background is in textile design, display and merchandising and will be creating a total ball makeover for The Overseas Terminal Function Centre and will be on hand to offer advice and assistance to exhibitors when and if required. Paula is also the Creative Director of Belle Vie Weddings and the newly named Paula Bevege Events - and runs the venue Erskine in Island Bay.

For us the organisers we pride ourselves on getting the word out to the students and we will. This is a great opportunity to talk to thousands of students over this fantastic 1 day event. With our proven track record we will deliver the best School Ball expo held in Wellington.
