Excursion 8: Coach From Auckland to Tauranga - Train to Auckland
Depart by luxury coach from the old Auckland Railway Station, The Strand at 6:00am. Travel down the Southern motorway across Hauraki Plains, through the Athenree Gorge, past the mural town of Katikati, arriving Tauranga Strand Station 9:00am. Board steam team at 10 am for departure for Auckland at 10:30am. Return to Auckland via the Kaimai tunnel then Hamilton and with an optional passenger drop off at 2.40pm at Papakura Station. Arrive at the old Auckland Railway Station, The Strand at 3: 30pm. Light refreshments tea, coffee, soft drinks and snack food are available on the train for purchase or you can bring your own.

Excursion 9: Steam Train Tauranga - Auckland
Depart Tauranga Strand 10:30am travel north skirting the Tauranga harbour, pass under the ranges via the Kaimai tunnel arriving in Hamilton at 12:50pm. Steam back to Auckland arriving at Papakura Station - an optional drop off point at 2:40pm. Then on to Auckland arriving at the old Auckland Railway Station, The Strand at 3:30pm. Light refreshments tea, coffee, soft drinks and snack food are available on the train for purchase or you can bring your own.

Excursion 10: Train & Luxury Coach Return (Tauranga - Auckland - Tauranga)
Depart Tauranga Strand 10:30am by steam train. Arrive Auckland 3:30pm. Depart Auckland 4:00pm by luxury coach. Travel along Tamaki Drive and the Auckland waterfront, past the luxury homes of Paratai Drive and the Eastern Suburbs then back to Tauranga via the Hauraki Plains, Waihi, Katikati arriving near the i-SITE in Willow Street, Tauranga at 8:00pm.
