The Eastern from Christchurch return to Taupo as part of their NZ tour to celebrate the release of their new album 'Arrows' on Sunday 28th March. The show is at the Suncourt Hotel (on the huge deck or in the bar if the weather isn't kind to us) Starts at 6.00pm with a special guest from the UK Jaime Regan supporting.
The Eastern are one of the best live bands in the country and are constantly on the road perfecting their craft..... they play about 200 shows a year, which probably makes them the hardest working band in the country as well.

They bring… Backpacks full of road songs, battered acoustics and no name electrics, banjo and glockenspiel, mandolin, harmonica, foot stomps and old time singing, straight from the gut, the fist and the heart…
