The most spectacular off-road half marathon in the country held in the magnificent Whakarewarewa Forest.
The scenic two lap course utilises scenic forest trails and smooth gravel forest roads.
An exciting option to the half marathon is the New Balance 10km fun run/walk – this non competitive event is suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities with the course using scenic forest trails and smooth gravel forest roads.
All events start and finish at the Waipa Sawmill Recreation area. Special kids events for children aged four through to 12 years make this the perfect day out for all the family.
