Ian & Nikki have been supporting each others solo original material for over a year & their repertoire is also expanding. Their vocal harmonies are a perfect marriage.

Ian Simpson - Originally from the UK has been playing music since he was 11 years old and writing and performing for the past 16 years. Performing regularly around Auckland and recognised as a notable writer/performer. Ian's powerful vocals and passionate delivery leave a distinct impression with the listener. He won the Diablo Singer/Songwriter 2007 competition in Ponsonby, Auckland taking top honours amongst 30 contestants from around the country.

New Zealand born Nikki Ngatai has performed solo since 2005. Her influences vary from heavy alternative rock to soulful grooves. Nikki formed a band in early 2009. Each member, with contrasting musical backgrounds had much to contribute on a collaborative level. These members include... Ian Simpson - guitar & backing vocal. Chris Orange - bass. Miles Gillett - drums Nikki & band have been performing around the Auckland region, most recently opening for Don McGlashan & the 7 sisters. They are currently recording demos in Auckland.

Miles Gillett & Chris Orange will be joining Ian & Nikki on this acoustic tour. Miles has spent most of his musical career touring & recording in various bands in the U.S before returning to his home of NZ in 2000. Chris Orange spent the late 70's as a member of the Auckland punk bands "The Features" & "The Terrorways". he is also currently a member of "Chocolate Fish" a local Waiheke Island band.
