Pokeno Country Market has been running for five years now and continues to thrive and grow to an average of 60 stalls every Sunday (weather dependant).

With a wide variety of stalls selling food, drink, jewellery, gift items, household products, plants and flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables, smoked fish, salami and fresh beef, cheeses, breads, new books, bric-a-brac, collectables and lots, lots more. Pony rides for the kids plus live music while you browse the stalls.

New stalls are always welcome. You will love the diversity of stalls at this market - they make it interesting. Some stallholders only come once or twice a month so it pays to ask at stalls when purchasing something you may want again. No need to book a site, just arrive on any Sunday around 8am. See Ray, our day manager, and he will show you to a site. Gazebos and tables can be hired on market day otherwise provide your own and save money! Stalls start at $15 per single space.

Pokeno is off the Waikato Expressway just after Mercer going north and 5kms south of Bombay Hills on the Southern Motorway going south. Market in Pokeno Village opposite the NZ famous ice cream and Pokeno Bacon Shops.

Come out and visit our market any Sunday rain or shine!

After a browse, take the weight off and sit end enjoy one of Dave's coffees and Bart's bacon sandwiches!

Take a moment to check out our stalls on our new web page - www.franklinmarkets.com.

The market will be open on easter sunday 2013.

think you should get Auckland Mandolinata Orchestra to play some Euroean music for you. They are not too loud and give just the right background feeling for a European market.
