... By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.
Directed by Paul McLaughlin, this year's Manawatu Summer Shakespeare production is The Scottish Play. Utilising an "Apocalypse Now" aesthetic, this interpretation of the classic tragedy examines the political and warlike themes of the play in particular detail.
Beginning at 7.30 pm in the Nikau Grove behind the Children's playground at Victoria Esplanade, the play runs over 6 nights. Expect plenty of sound and fury, signifying an excellent evening's entertainment.
Entry is by Koha, and, if wet, the performances will take place at Palmerston North Girls' High School
