Aroha Day

Set in iconic Beresford Square, this free whānau afternoon and evening of fun and entertainment is a major fundraiser for the Auckland City Mission and Mika Haka Foundation GLBT Youth Programmes.

With personalities on the mic including: Mika, Peta Mathias, Steven Gray, Aroha Hathaway, Amanda Tepania-Ashton and Kimo Houltham, Lani Lopez and Timothy Giles, Jermaine Leef, Louisa Wall, Rev. Mua Strickson-Pua and Maihi Makiha

Musicians performing live: Jan Hellriegel, Caitlin Smith, Hymnchidivah, Will C Barling and DJ Stevolicious, Jessica Fong, Vee, Ramon Te Wake, Daren Kamali, DJ Geezer Guy, DJ Phoebe Falconer and DJ Samuel Holloway

A covered and comfortable kaumātua area will be provided, along with an array of food and craft stalls, ranging from mussel fritters, gourmet nuts and kiwi confectionery to locally made jewellery and natural beauty products.
