This New Zealand premiere production is an hilarious comedy by Ken Ludwig and directed by Margi Arthur.

Starring Antony Jones & Andrew Judd; with Nicci Smith, Morris West, Kristen Devine, Tom Crehan, Justin Lowcay and special guest appearance by Lea Michaels.

Meet Jack and Leo - two down-on-their-luck English Shakespearean actors reduced to playing the Moose Lodge circuit in Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long-lost English nephews, Jack and Leo get ready to pass themselves off as "Max and Steve".

Only trouble is, it turns out that Max and Steve are really "Maxine and Stephanie", the old lady's two long-lost nieces. Jack and Leo are now in for the performance of their lives!

"Ludwig's newest comedy is so funny, it will make sophisticated and reasonable men and women of the 21st century cackle till their faces hurt." - The Houston Press
"Leading ladies is a highly combustible and continuously hilarious new comedy by Ken Ludwig, Broadway's reigning comic writer." - The Cleveland Plain Deale
"Ludwig's laugh-a-second (yes, they do come that fast) farce, will surely join "Charley's Aunt"..... in the repertories of regional and community theatres for decades to come." - The San Diego Union-Tribune

An Opening Night Gala Performance on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 will commence with wine and cheese from 7.15pm - show at 8.00pm. Normal ticket price will occur but be in quick to ensure your seats for this exciting night.
