The Royal New Zealand National Pipe Band Championships will be held in Masterton in 2010. On the Friday at 9am there will be a street march from Perry Street, up Queen Street to Park Street. Following the street march there will be other music events at Queen Elizabeth Park. On Saturday at the Cameron Memorial Park (Wairarapa-Bush Stadium) in Dixon Street, Masterton, there will be music events throughout the day.
