Would you like to:

• Meet with other writers at all levels – new or established, published or unpublished, young or old?
• Increase your circle of writing friends and/or colleagues?
• Talk with other writers who have formed, and got benefits from, a writing group?
• Have the opportunity to meet, or form partnerships with, those working on similar projects to yourself?
• Exchange ideas, information and seek solutions to writing challenges?

Then the Writers’ Swap Meet is for you. Whatever genre you write in, whether you are just new to writing or have a few books under your belt, come along to this friendly get-together on:
• Saturday 20 March
• 1 – 3 pm
• Manurewa Library’s Community Room, Hill Road, Manurewa
• Cost: $2
• Tea, coffee and bikkies will be provided.

This is a chance to chin-wag and rub shoulders with other writers, and to network with people you might not normally cross paths with. After a short welcome there will be plenty of time to circulate, introduce yourself to people, join in on group discussions or have riveting 1:1 conversations :-)

Feel a bit shy? Don’t worry, there will be co-facilitators there, who will be happy to help introduce you to others and get the talk flowing.

There will be no readings of writers’ work or book sales at the Swap Meet. However, those who have been published are welcome to bring one book to display.

Please use the Hill Road entrance to the all-day FREE car park behind the library, as parking directly outside of the library, or via the Newhook Lane entrance, is for one hour only.
