Cafe Scientifique occurs on the last Thursday of every month. It is a very casual gathering of people interested in hearing the latest in science. The speaker will only talk for 10-20 minutes and the floor is opened for questions. Very relaxed, always interesting!
Recoil has partnered with WelTec (Petone) to produce a fuel option which contains … Water?
Recoil fuel products are already being used commercially in the Hutt Valley so where to from here?
Testing has shown Recoil fuel products to have environmental benefits through the reduction of NOx, CO, CO2 and particulate matter by up to 60% and with visible smoke virtually eliminated.
• Apart from the environmental benefits, what could be the future for these fuels?
• Is a viable production capacity a possibility?
• Could we see price reductions at the fuel pump?
This is an opportunity to discuss the future of New Zealand’s oil supply with a local expert.
Supported by: GNS Science, Royal Society of New Zealand Wellington Branch,
Cadillac Diner, Capital E and Hutt City Council
