The 10k fun run and walk is on a farm 4WD track and off-road tracks. There is some rough & uneven surfaces and care should be taken, it includes a climb of 200m. There are amazing views over Lake Tekapo on the course.

23k Mountain Run, this is for very fit and experienced off-road runners. The course is over 4WD tracks and some off-road tracks. There are some rough and uneven surfaces and a number of stream crossings. There are a number of substantial hill climbs starting at an elevation of 715m going to 1100m and one steep decent.

A wind breaker and thermals should be worn or carried during the race. The course provides amazing views across the Mackenzie basin and Lake Tekapo.

See map of courses on the web site. All entries received prior to 15th March receive a free Hot Springs Pool Pass (to be used on 20th/21st March 2010, non-transferrable for cash).

Late entries taken on day of race, after 15th March late fee of $10 applies, no free pool pass available to late entries.
