Our Introductory Course is the perfect place to begin - or to reawaken your interest and start practising again! A short series of slower paced, informative classes will provide you with a strong foundation in the practice of Yoga. These classes include:

* a brief discussion and introduction to Yoga.
* the study and practice of the fundamental Yoga postures including correct body positioning and alignment.
* detailed instruction on how to combine breath and movement.

Two hour beginners courses are the perfect place to begin. Beginners courses offer a pleasant and easy introduction designed for the first time yoga student. They accommodate people who feel inflexible and inexperienced with stretching as well as people recovering from illness or injuries. The courses are slower paced, informative and will familiarize you with the basic yoga postures and breathing. Mande White's Yoga recommends beginners courses to all new students before entering Level 1 and One Hour Beginners classes.

Mande is the founder of City Yoga. Her remarkable teaching ability and creative approach to yoga, movement and health have made her one of the most sought after fitness consultants in New Zealand. Mande's enthusiastic and positive approach to life and fitness is motivational.

Mande has spent more than 2 decades expanding the horizons of health and fitness for people of all ages and fitness levels.
