The annual Havelock Mussel Festival is held on the third Saturday in March at the Havelock Domain.
The Festival is a celebration of the fascinating mussel industry, along with the small town which is gaining a big reputation as the gateway to the Pelorus Sounds and the proud home of the Greenshell™ Mussel. Learn how mussels are grown, what there is to do in Havelock and enjoy some of the world's finest seafood.
The annual Havelock Mussel Festival is a family day with a huge array of food and drink stalls, arts and crafts and free kids entertainment and you have a day to remember – a festival for everyone!
The MC this year will be Frankie Stevens and entertainment will include:
