Lowland Stakes Art Deco Raceday

Brush off the boater, pack a picnic and come and enjoy all the fun of the races as Hawke's Bay Racing hosts the inaugural Lowland Stakes Art Deco Raceday.

Extend the Art Deco festivities a little longer, try something different and join us at the races dressed in your deco best. Entertainment throughout the day includes live music from the Bay City Stompers, Horse shoe throwing contest, traction engine rides, free bangers'n'bread, vintage car display, punters club competition, egg'n'spoon races, sack races, face painting, apple bobbing competition, carousel rides and bouncy castles.

There is even a two course 1930's themed lunch available at the Saddles Restaurant from midday until 2pm for $25 per person.

Raceday Packages - VIP Lounge ($60 per person):

The VIP Lounge offers guests the best seats in the house (members stand). Unobstructed views of the winning post and reserved seating in the grandstand - who could ask for more.
A truly wonderful way to spend the day.

• Racebook

Mini Marquee Package ($550 for 10 people)
A fantastic way to spend your raceday in your very own private mini marquee.

This package includes:
• Course admission
• Private 3m x 3m mini marquee for the day
• Table, 10 chairs in reserved seating mini marquee area
• Premium spot on the home straight
• Racebooks for all guests
• Picnic hamper lunch

You are welcome to BYO alcohol and nibbles if you wish. For groups of more than ten we can place marquees side by side and remove the centre wall giving you much more room to enjoy yourselves.

Please note: Should the weather be inclement guests will be relocated to a lounge upstairs.

BYO Policy - Limited BYO, 6 beers or bottle of wine per person.
