Hanmer Springs Lions Club 4WD Safari

The trip this year is through the Hossack Station, east of Hanmer Springs, with an overnight stop at the Acheron Accommodation House, on day two we will return to Hanmer and drive through Lochiel Station which is situated to the south of Hanmer Springs.

The Details:
We will be departing Hanmer Springs approx. 9am on the Saturday morning after registration. We will travel up the Hanmer River to the Hossack Station Homestead and on over the Hossack Saddle between the Hanmer and Amuri Ranges to meet the Clarence River at the back of the station.
The evening will be spent at the Acheron Accommodation House campsite.

The next morning we will travel the Clarence Road and via Jollies Pass back to Hanmer Springs and on the Lochiel Station to the south of Hanmer. We will spend the day travelling around the station and after which you will be able to return to Hanmer for a swim if you wish before travelling home.

As usual vehicle numbers will be limited. The cost of the trip will be $200 per Adult and children under 15 are free.

All meals will be provided, morning and afternoon teas, lunch and Saturday dinner as well as Sunday Breakfast, morning and afternoon teas and lunch. If you have special dietary needs we need to know prior to the trip.

What to bring:
You will be required to bring with you camping equipment and personal items only. Toilets will be provided though not at every stop.

Your vehicle must have a current WOF and Registration. High ground clearance is a necessity.
As we will be on private land, No cats, dogs or firearms are permitted on this trip.
