Use music to enhance bonding and attachment with your baby. Learn songs and age appropriate activities to take into your home and at the same time learn how to interact with your baby to stimulate and foster brain development. A workshop for everyone, no matter how musical you think you are. To get the most out of these classes we recommend you do not bring along any siblings.
There are two stand alone 4 week courses per age group, the second course will feature new songs and activities from the first one. $40 for all 4 sessions to secure your place. We are unable to offer a refund if you can’t attend one of the classes.
The courses are on the following dates
Week 1 - 8 February
Week 2 - 15 February
Week 3 - 22 February
Week 4 - 1 March
Alison Broom: Alison is a trained nurse, social worker and adult educator, who has had a lifelong interest and involvement in parenting education and music. She is formally trained both in piano and singing. Alison has run parenting education groups for many years in Christchurch before recently moving to Auckland. She has three adult children, all of whom play musical instruments and enjoy music, more for the joy of participation than attaining high levels of achievement. Alison is married to Brian and is thriving on the joy and wonder of being alongside three lively grandchildren aged 6, 2 and nearly 1, who love to sing and dance.
