Miniature Train buffs are in for a rare treat with the Society's Dolgoch Steam Engine ready to accept passengers who want to ride the rail, she will be joined by her twin sister from Wellington and a British Mountain Log Steam Train plus two 'mystery' Steam Trains from towns in the lower North Island.

Small Steam Trains create a 'Magical World' and a lot of joy, fun and happiness for those spirited adventurers who dare to ride the rail.

Apart from the trains, the festival will include, games and entertainment for your children, stalls, raffles, food and live music.

Other thing to do in Featherston: visit the Heritage and Fell Locomotive Museums, your children can enjoy the exciting playground and the new skate park, walk on our heritage trails, picnic in cherry tree park.
