Our first Open Day at the Highbrook flying site was a great success.
32 pilots from 9 different clubs registered and there were nearly 60 models
on site for the day.
Johnathon Platt gave some great Heli demo's (gravity ruled on one occaision,
but he soon had his other Heli in the air)
Brian Borland flew the first turbine model to use the site and there was
even a Witch and a Flying Saucer to amuse the watchers.
As site managers, Roskill Modellers Club organised a great event at short
notice, even providing the barbeque when the pre-booked food supplier
cancelled at the last minute.
