Celebrate Earth Hour in the Octagon on Saturday 27 March 2010 between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. The lights will be turned off as the crowds gather.

Entertainment will include fire performers and drummers.

Earth hour organisers urge everyone to turn off all non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.

The Dunedin City Council is supporting this WWF initative locally and invites you to join us at the Octagon event or support the event locally by turning off your lights for one hour.
